Makalu Region Trekking 27 Days

Makalu, one of the controlled areas gives you opportunity to trek into some of the awe experiencing paths from lowest valley in the world to the base camp of fifth highest mountain in the world. Not only high altitude paths, but you will be trekking via dense forest, rural farm exploring the local communities following the Ridge of Arun River. After the base camp of Makalu and Sherpani Col, you will return via normal route to Everest and ends up you experiencing after you fly back to Kathmandu from Lukla.

This hard trekking route will give you a chance to view different mountains. Here professionals will fix the ropes on the steepest and most exposed sections in order to assure your safety. This trail will give you exotic experience apart of other sceneries that we can see from any other routes.

Day 01: Arrival day in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264 ft)Uppon Arrival to the international terminal of Kathmandu Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative.

Day 02: Trek preparation 

Day 03: Fly to Tumlingtar (950m/3,116ft), 50 minutes flight and camp

Day 04: Trek to Mani-Bhanjyang (1,200m/3,936ft), 5-6 hrs walk

Day 05: Trek to Chichila (1,800m/5,904ft), 5-6 hrs walk

Day 06: Trek to Num (1,500m/4,920ft) 5-6 hrs walk

Day 07: Trek to Seduwa (1,493m/4,897ft), 5 hrs walk

Day 08: Trek to Tashi Gaun (2,200m/7,216ft), 3-4 hrs walk 

Day 09: Trek to Kahuma Danda (3,500m/11,480ft), 5-6 hours walk

Day 10: Trek to Mumbuk (3,400m/11,152ft) 5-6 hrs walk

Day 11: Trek to Nehe Kharka (3,750m/12,300ft) 6-7 hrs walk

Day 12: Trek to Sherson (4,600m/15,088ft) 6-7 hrs walk

Day 13: Acclimatization day

Day 14: Trek to Barun-che Base Camp (4,800m/15,744ft), 2-3 hrs walk

Day 15: Trek to High Camp (5,200m/17,056ft), 4-5 hrs walk

Day 16: Camp at (5,700m/18696ft), 4-5 hrs walk

Day 17: Rest day. O/N Camp.

Day 18: Camp on the Moraine (5,640m/18,500ft), after crossing Sherpani col. 

Day 19: Trek to Panch Pokhari (5,480m/17,975ft), 4-5 hrs walk

Day 20: Trek to Amphu Labtsa Base Camp

Day 21: Traverse Amphu Labtsa Pass 5,780m and trek to Chhukung (4,730m/15,515ft), 7-8 hrs walk

Day 22: Trek to Tyangboche (3, 867m/12.684ft) 5-6 hrs

Day 23: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,283ft) 5-6 hrs walk

Day 24: Trek to Lukla (2,800m/9,184ft), 6-7 hrs walks

Day 25: Fly back to Kathmandu.
