Annapurna Region is situated in north western part of Nepal. It is well known for having the world’s best trekking routes. Starts from the lake city of Pokhara, popular treks that lead to Jomsom, ABC (Annapurna Base Camp), Mustang, Manang and other many routes around the Annapurna mountain. Other short treks are also popular in this region, Sikles and Ghandruk are its examples. The Annapurna region is an area that consist of the driest and windest places in Nepal.
Annapurna region is 55km long bounded by Kali Gandaki Gorge on the west, the Marshyangdi river on the north and east and Pokhara Valley on the south. This region also consists Annapurna I, which is tenth highest mountain in the world.
